Well Valentine’s day is tomorrow so you are probably finalizing your plans or making last minute arrangements. I came across this ADORABLE Love is Sweet party inspiration shoot on Somewhere Splendid and fell in love with it. The shoot was created by Shop Sweet Lulu {a fabulous party supply site I urge you to check out} in partnership with photographer Stevie Patten.
What is perfect about sharing this with you today is that the concept is something you could pull off relatively last minute and still have an incredibly stylish Valentine’s celebration, and wait until you hear about a new donut boutique opening up in Boston tomorrow to help you get this look {more on that below}! I have to admit I don’t eat donuts often, if ever. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth {except for dark chocolate, my ideal dessert is a cheese plate}, however after seeing this fabulously styled party and what this new gourmet donut boutique in Boston is offering, I may have to reconsider!!
How adorable are these candy rings? I love the idea of having a make your own candy cocktail ring as part of the party experience, don’t you? It would be perfect for a child’s party but even for a girls night in party!

Also, tomorrow a there is new donut boutique opening in Somerville called Union Square Donuts and let me tell you, this is NOT your average donut shop!!

The boutique will be offering varieties such as chocolate-chipotle, honey-dipped with toasted almonds, and maple with candied bacon {not kidding}. Aaaaand for Valentine’s Day, they have come up with a pink rosewater-infused flavor donut! This is the flavor that may convert me to a donut lover! {It would also compliment any Valentine’s day dessert table nicely given it’s pink color}.
The shop is located at 201 Somerville Ave., and will be open from 10-6 tomorrow-Sunday. So for Boston readers, perhaps if you have not finalized your sweetheart’s gift, you have a new fabulous and creative option.
